Why do some manufacturers require that suction line filters be removed from a system after the system has been cleaned?

Answer to Question 1

Because a loaded suction filter creates pressure drop in the suction line.

Answer to Question 2

One method mixes different types of desiccant material and forms it into a solid molded core. The other uses individual desiccant beads that are compressed together inside the shell.
