Answer to Question 1

Since ozone filters out harmful ultraviolet B radiation, less ozone means higher UVB levels on the ground. UVB has been linked to skin cancer, cataracts, and harm to certain crops and marine organisms.

A concentration of ozone molecules in the stratosphere.
