One advantage desiccant drying has over refrigerated drying is that desiccant systems can operate at temperatures below freezing.

Large commercial applications generally use desiccant wheel dehumidifiers.

Answer to Question 3

Dehumidifier capacity drops as either the air temperature or the relative humidity drop.
