Define the term saturation as it applies to an electromagnet.
 
  What will be an ideal response?

Answer to Question 1

Saturation is the point where you add current to the coil of wire and it continually increases the amount of magnetic flux lines. At saturation, the magnetic field does not increase any longer when more current is applied to the coil.
