Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Bohr's model has the electron orbitals quantized into discrete energies. Each upward transition to a higher energy state produces an absorption line (energy is absorbed). Each downward transition produces an emission line (energy is given off). The energy absorbed or emitted is exactly equal to the difference in energy levels.
