Scientists today do not accept the Ptolemaic model because:
 
  A) it is ancient history.
  B) it was too complicated, compared to Copernicus' heliocentric model.
  C) it has been shown that Ptolemy faked his data.
  D) it had no explanation for retrograde motion.
