A circuit consists of two resistors in parallel with each other. R1 = 60  and R2 = 120 . The circuit has 10 V applied. An ammeter placed to read total current is reading 0.17 A. What is the problem with the circuit?

  A) There is no problem. B) R2 is shorted.
  C) R2 is open. D) R1 is open.

Question 2

As additional resistors are added in parallel to a parallel circuit, what will happen to the total resistance?
