Local climate patterns are very hard to predict, whether the world is warmer or
cooler. If Earth warms, some regions will see increased rainfall; if Earth cools, different
regions will see increased rainfall. (Also see Problem 16-23.)

Answer to Question 2

Because about three-quarters of Earth's surface is ocean, the oceans absorb about
three-quarters of the solar radiation.
