After reviewing the data from Procedures 5 and 6, in general how do you think the voltages across individual elements in a parallel circuit compare with the total voltage supplied to the circuit?

Question 2

You charge a parallel-plate capacitor, remove it from the battery, and prevent the wires connected to the plates from touching each other. When you increase the plate separation, what happens to the value of E between the plates?

  2.It decreases.
  3.It stays the same.
