Two identical cylinders at the same pressure contain the same kind of gas and the same number of moles of gas (in other words, the same amount of gas). If one has two times the volume of the other, what can you say about the relative temperatures of the gas within each of the cylinders?
1.The temperature must be the same.
2.The cylinder with the larger volume must have a temperature on an absolute scale that is  the temperature of the other.
3.The cylinder with the smaller volume must have a temperature on an absolute scale that is  the temperature of the other.
4.It is impossible to tell because the temperatures could be anything.

Question 2

2.It will contract slightly (its volume will decrease).
  3.Its volume will not change.
  4.Its mass will decrease.
