When a voltage is applied across a p-type semiconductor, the holes
 
  A) are destroyed. B) move toward the negative electrode.
  C) do not move. D) move toward the positive electrode.

Question 2

If the efficiency of a reversible engine is 28, what is its COP (performance coefficient) operated (a) as a refrigerator, and (b) as a heat pump?
