Answer:
1. There have been questions of the ethics involved, particularly when people are court-ordered or otherwise forced into behavioral treatments.
2. Psychologists fear that therapy will become a matter of following mechanical directions, taking away the sophisticated artistry and skill inherent in the helping professions.
3. Behavioral therapy changes superficial and small things, and does not address long standing, deep-seated psychopathology.
4. Biased reports of researchthough research shows the superiority of behavioral treatments over others, the true state of affairs is not represented.
