Answer to Question 2

The leader can set a positive tone in group by being enthusiastic, drawing out members to get more people involved, cutting off negative members or exchanges, planning interesting topics and exercises, and being sensitive to cultural differences between members. With mandated members, the leader will need to get and keep them interested, cut off any negativity or hostility, and be firm but compassionate to set a positive tone.
