 As people become more computer literate, the advantages of using computer-assisted career guidance systems become more advantageous. With the increase wealth of information of knowledge that comes with the information highway many advantages has been afforded to users.
 Some of the following are; the interactive capabilities of these systems allow users to become actively involved in the career guidance process, user motivation is increased through immediate feedback, provides opportunities to personalize career search strategies.
 Other advantages include the client availability to the access of large data bases with the local, state, national, and international locations that are immediately available. Access to these services are in many remote locations, they are cost effective and provide for a rapid turnaround with assessment results.
