What ultimately are the desired outcomes for Adlerian and Reality Therapy theories described in this chapter? Include in the discussion techniques utilized in each theory, which lead to the desired outcomes.
 The desired outcome of an Adlerian group is for individuals, rather than the group itself, to grow through the correction of faulty beliefs
 The desired outcome of a Reality Theory group is for members to more past self-defeating patterns and engage in new behaviors

Answer to Question 2

Compare and contrast the role of the group leader in transactional analysis and person-centered groups. Be specific in describing how the two function differently and the overlaps they have.
 The role of the group leader in a TA group is to act as a primary listening, observer, diagnostician, and analyst; group member interactions are considered more major than interactions between members
 The role of the leader in a person-centered group is less active and more facilitative
