Answer to Question 1

A subdivision plan is a plan to divide a single parcel of land into smaller lots for purposes of development. Each parcel must meet the zoning and governmental requirements.

Answer to Question 2

Zoning codes establish the criteria for different land uses and a plan for multiple uses within a community. The purpose of zoning is to control the look and the feel of a community.
