Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

Attorneys generally are not allowed to represent parties if that representation would result in a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest occurs when the attorney cannot give all of his or her loyalty to the client because of some personal or financial relationship that exists. Conflicts can exist in various situations. Paralegals are held to the same ethical duty as attorneys.
