In your own words, describe an exception as it relates to the ruling of the Court on an objection.
 
  What will be an ideal response?

Question 2

The majority of the scopist's time will be spent
 
  a. becoming competent in using the court reporting software
   b. communicating with clients, keeping records, and time management
  practices
   c. continuing education and keeping up with issues arising in the profession
   d. in transcript production

Answer to Question 1

A formal disagreement by the attorney who made an objection, after the court has overruled his or her objection. The exception puts on the record the fact that the attorney disagrees with the judge's ruling and may be used as a basis for appeal.
