Felix and Oscar are street racing their cars on a public road. A crowd of children has gathered to watch the race. Oscar, driving at a high speed, loses control of his car and plows into the gathering of children. Susie is run over; five days later, Susie dies of her injuries while being treated in the hospital. Has Oscar committed the tort of wrongful death? Why or why not? If so, who can bring that action (since Susie is dead)?
