Answer to Question 1

A switch would be the best choice. A hub allows the different workstations to communicate with each other, all sharing the same Internet connection through separate wires. Everything that comes through one of the connections is sent to all the others. This may be a good choice for four or fewer workstations, but for a larger office, a switch is a better choice. Although a switch may cost more, it is more efficient. A switch directs messages to the intended recipient, thereby reducing the total traffic and increasing speed.

Answer to Question 2

Dial-up
