Answer to Question 2

Microsoft Access provides options for password and permissions level setup that can be used to restrict access. The response must show an understanding of how these options are implemented in a database. A database in a law office contains confidential information, such as the list of clients, and may contain potentially privileged information, such as the reason the client is consulting the law firm. Protecting this information is an ethical obligation. The question that must be considered is how to balance the need for access with the need to restrict access to those with a need to have the information.
