Answer to Question 1

hurricane intensity

Answer to Question 2

As a rising parcel of air cools to its dew point temperature, condensation occurs, which releases latent heat into the air. Air cools faster prior to the onset of condensation. The rate of cooling is called the dry adiabatic lapse rate. Once condensation occurs, and latent heat is released, the air parcel cools at a different rate known as the wet adiabatic lapse rate.

Did you know?

Fatal fungal infections may be able to resist newer antifungal drugs. Globally, fungal infections are often fatal due to the lack of access to multiple antifungals, which may be required to be utilized in combination. Single antifungals may not be enough to stop a fungal infection from causing the death of a patient.

The types of cancer that alpha interferons are used to treat include hairy cell leukemia, melanoma, follicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma.

Did you know?

Interferon was scarce and expensive until 1980, when the interferon gene was inserted into bacteria using recombinant DNA technology, allowing for mass cultivation and purification from bacterial cultures.

Did you know?

Most fungi that pathogenically affect humans live in soil. If a person is not healthy, has an open wound, or is immunocompromised, a fungal infection can be very aggressive.

Did you know?
