FEEDBACK: A 12-year study of children in Finland found that when mothers had hostile attitudes toward child rearing (attitudes measured when their children were 3 and 6 years old), their children were highly likely to have hostile attitudes by the time they became 15. Thus, hostile mothers were found to rear children who also became hostile.
