FEEDBACK: Researchers found that some Freudian conceptsnotably the id, ego, superego, death wish, libido, and anxietycould not be tested by the experimental method. Every effort was made to restrict the investigation to data thought to have a high degree of objectivity.

FEEDBACK: In the years since Freud's death, many of his ideas have been submitted to experimental testing. An analysis of some 2,500 studies evaluated the scientific credibility of some of Freud's ideas. In this evaluation, case histories were not considered.
