Application of discipline is split into two distinct areas. On the one hand there is the traditional
notion of discipline as punishment, and on the other hand is the positive discipline approach.
Positive discipline is about exploring other ways for compliance with the rules. It is about
reversing the concept of discipline as punishment and placing emphasis on development along
with encouraging responsibility and self-directed behavior. It is an extension of the training and
coaching process.

Answer to Question 2

It uses a different profit percent for each category of food on the menu.
