Answer to Question 1

Answer: The term corporate violence refers to actions by corporations that cause injury, illness, and even death. These lives are lost in the name of profit, as corporations pursue profits with reckless disregard for the health, safety, and lives of their workers, consumers, and the general public.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Occupational crime is committed by individuals in the course of their occupation for personal gain, whereas corporate crime is committed by corporations. Corporate executives obviously plan and commit the crime, but they do so for their corporations financial gain.
