 The vertical/hierarchical structure divides leadership into several levels.
 Power and authority are related to one's position in the line of command.
 The horizontal/commission structure consists of several officeholders who share about equal authority over members.
 The leaders share the duties as well as the power and authority.
 The influential structure assigns no written duties or titles to the leadership positions.
 This type of system has two to four members who are regarded as the leaders of the gang.
 The authority of the influential leaders is derived from charisma.
