Answer to Question 1

Answer: This Act makes it unnecessary to prove that the accused had fled from the state in which the crime was

misdemeanor charges.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: This safeguard prevents countries from extraditing a political fugitive under the pretext of a specified
crime and then instigating prosecution for an alleged attempt to overthrow a government or for another
