Matt should have located the crater first upon arrival. He should collect both debris and soil from the crater to be tested. All materials collected for examination by thelaboratory must be placed in airtight sealed containers and labeled with allpertinent information. Soil and other soft loose materials are best stored inmetal airtight containers such as clean paint cans.
The large, sharp-edged objects are best packaged in metal containers.
