Answer to Question 1

PC: In the Materials window, open the secondary selection pane. Display both the In-Model and the destination collection, and drag materials to their destination collection. Mac: From the In-Model collection, place the materials you want to save in the color wells. Then open the destination collection and move the materials from the wells into the collection.
