Elizabeth is a teenager and often tells her mother all of my friends' parents don't care about this. In reality, most of her friends' parents do care. What is the belief called when you overestimate how many people agree with you?

Answer: Jung suggested that archetypes are the unconscious psychic structures shared by all people. His archetypes are the shadow, the anima/animus, and the Self.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Elizabeth is overestimating how many people agree with her, or experiencing the false consensus effect.
