Answer to Question 1

Answer: Yes, for the most part. Personality is described by traits, which by definition are the relatively stable tendencies of individuals. Thus, over time you would expect a person high in neuroticism to act anxious and worried and a person high in openness to be imaginative, creative, and always seeking new experiences.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: It appears that animals do have differences in emotional reactivity, affection, energy, and competence.
