Answer: The lexical hypothesis is the idea that traits important for survival and reproduction became embedded in human languages, often as single words.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Openness is described as the least intuitive of the Big Five because it is difficult to think of synonyms to describe the trait. In fact it is hard to describe openness with a single word.
