Answer: Intercoder reliability is important because it shows that the people coding stories or written material agree, using a set of rules, that it meets certain criteria.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The percentile score is the percentage of people a subject scores above on a scale or test. If the subject scores at the 76 percentile, it means she scored higher than 75 of every 100 people who took the test.
