There are large ranges of sizes in sediments. Most marine sediments are comprised of finer particles
like clay, silt, and sand. These particles are easily transported throughout the ocean. Information can be

There were two main factors in the creation of paleoceanography. Stratigraphy and the advent of deep
sea drilling allowed scientists to interpret changes in ocean and atmospheric circulations. Information
