Answer to Question 1

Environmental resistance is the effect of limiting factors on an environment. Limiting factors in an environment can slow the rate of population in addition to regulating the distribution of organisms.
A random distribution of a population indicates that there is no impact of one organism on that of another. The conditions in the environment are the same throughout. This is a very rare type of distribution.
Clumped patches of distribution are the most common form of distribution. There are optimal conditions that occur throughout the environment. Patches can be a result of nutrient concentration, initial population dispersal, and social interactions.
Uniform distribution occurs when the organisms in a community are equally spaced from one another. This is the rarest form of distribution in communities.

Answer to Question 2

Coastal areas join land and sea, and a coast refers to the larger zone affected by the processes that occur at this boundary. There are several processes that dictate the shape and general characteristics of coasts; these include natural events that originate both from the land and ocean. Coasts are subject to both ocean and land processes due to their proximity to both. These processes include wind waves, tides, erosion, sediment transport and deposition, long-term changes in sea level, tectonic motions, and isostatic adjustments.

The human body's pharmacokinetics are quite varied. Our hair holds onto drugs longer than our urine, blood, or saliva. For example, alcohol can be detected in the hair for up to 90 days after it was consumed. The same is true for marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, methamphetamine, and nicotine.
