Answer to Question 2

Discuss two ways to assist a manager in terminating a conference when he or she has another appointment soon.

Take the visitor's business card or name written on a slip of paper with the notation that the visitor has arrived and hand it to your manager. Enter your manager's office and say, Excuse me. Your next appointment is here. May I tell him/her you will see him/her now?

Call your manager on the interoffice telephone and suggest a time for the conference to end.
