You have been asked to set up a model program for a group of children from low socioeconomic families, based on a specific theoretical framework. Briefly describe what type of program you would devise, how it relates to a theory, and why you chose that theory?

Discuss two components of Erik Eriksons theory that have relevance for you, as a teacher of young children. Elaborate on why these are significant.

Answer to Question 1

Theories can be based on any of the key theorists including but not limited to Jean Piaget, Sigmund Freud, Erik Erickson, Lev Vygotsky, B.F. Skinner, or Maria Montessori.

Answer to Question 2

The first three level are key for the youngest ages. The student can expand on any of the 8 level although.
