Answers will vary: Any five like the following are acceptable.
Percussion Instruments: Drum, Cymbal.
Rhythm Instruments Rhythm Sticks, Wood Blocks.
Melody Instruments: Bells, Xylophone, Keyboard.
Chording Instrument: Guitar, Autoharp.
Child-Made Instrument: Shakers.

Answer to Question 2

Singing: Using the voice to create or reproduce musical sounds in an enjoyable way.
Making Music: This refers to playing instruments or accompanying music with sounds/patterns.
Moving to Music: This includes using the body to respond to music and determine ways to support music with action.
Listening: A variety of types of music can be heard and enjoyed by young children. It can provide moments of calmness or be the stimulation for activity.
