b

Answer to Question 2

Cholecystokinin constricts the sphincter muscle between the stomach and duodenum, causing the stomach to hold its contents and fill more quickly than usual. It also stimulates the vagus nerve to send signals to the hypothalamus, causing cells there to release a neurotransmitter that is a shorter version of the cholecystokinin molecule itself.
