Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: True

Answer to Question 2

Didacticism is an artistic philosophy that uses art and literature as teaching tools. While much art and literature can effectively be used in this way, there is a danger in creating works specifically for that purpose because the aesthetic part of the work can become of secondary importance. As a result, if the lesson part of the work makes it wordy and dull, it will not hold the interest of the reader. If the interest of the reader is missing, any important message in the work never gets considered by that reader.
