The text suggested using the same criteria for selecting stories as was used for preschool storytelling. Would you select the following flannel board story? Why or why not? People, People, People The master and maker of the world wanted people to live in the world with the animals. He made people of cookie dough  like gingerbread men. He gave them a head, a body, arms and legs, hands and feet and fingers and toes. The first batch of cookie dough was put in the oven, but these were taken out of the oven too soon and were under cooked and doughy white. So another batch was made and put in the oven and these were cooked too long and were burnt and black. The last batch of cookies were cooked just the right length of time and they were a golden, beautiful brown color. The maker of the world was very pleased and happy.
