Children afflicted with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) are disobedient, hostile, and defiant to a degree not seen in typically developing children. Children with ODD may lose their temper frequently, have a low tolerance for frustration, get angry and resentful easily, be spiteful or
vindictive, blame others often, deliberately harass other people, or refuse to follow directions or rules.
