ANSWER: Centers could include any of the following: art, block, sensory (woodworking, water, mud, sand, cooking), dramatic play (housekeeping), puppets, music and movement, math and manipulatives, science and nature, language, literacy, and listening (books, writing, and tapes or CDs), computers, social studies/multicultural, and table toys.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: A typically developing child needs frequent opportunities for movement and interactions with people and objects. Fixed pieces of equipment do not provide opportunities for varied and active experiences.
