Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

By giving a dose of anti-Rh antibody (Rhogam) just before or after delivery, the fetal red cells will be agglutinated and removed from the mother's circulation before her immune system will have time to make anti-Rh antibodies that would endanger her next Rh-positive offspring.
