How was marijuana use perceived in the early 1920s?
 
  a) It was used recreationally and considered not to be a threat
  b) It was considered killer weed by the establishment.
  c) Eating cannabis was accepted, but smoking it was seen as a degenerate behavior.
  d) Only Chinese immigrants used marijuana at the time, and it was not widely known outside those circles.
