Mr. Walker is a 47-year-old executive who enjoys his success. He admits to drinking three to five cocktails per day for approximately the last ten years. The patient has obviously been out in the sun recently, so it is difficult to tell whether his skin is jaundiced. His eyes, however, are icteric and his bilirubin is elevated, both indicative of jaundice. Mr. Walker was seen today to discuss the abdominal mass found on his CT scan.
