Concentration refers to the share of market sales (revenue) accounted for by the largest firms. Two companiesCarnival and Royal Caribbeanaccount for over 70 of industry revenue, making this a highly concentrated industry.

ADRaverage daily rate; REVPARroom revenue per available room; Total REVPARall hotel revenue including that from food and beverage, spa, exercise facilities, meeting rooms, etc., per available room.
