Answer 1

Florida attracts many VFR (visit friends and relatives) where rental cars may be the lone expense plus it is a place for snowbirds, retirees who arrive in warm places without their own cars when the weather turns cold where they live. Families visiting the many theme parks in the state also tend to rent cars during their stay.

Answer 2

This homework assignment obviously depends upon the individual choices of students when they visit Web sites. However, it is a good exercise to ask students to evaluate the attractiveness of each site (home page and other screens), how easy it is to navigate, how quickly the pages load (slow loading of photographs is a turn off), the degree to which each site provides the kind of information travelers would want, and whether or not various sites create the feeling of I want to go there. Considerable variation exists on all of these dimensions.
