Answer 1

c

Answer 2

Students who emphasize the egalitarian aspects of Jackson's policy will point to the popular perception that the Bank was another instrument for helping the rich get richer. The function of the Bank, after all, was to stabilize the economy at a time when many people felt locked outside of it. Students who emphasize that the Bank war was a means of replacing one set of elites with another will point to the text's point that state bankers thought its controls were too strict and that it was getting an unfair share of federal revenues. They will also point to the desires of speculators who would benefit from instability.
